I cleaned David's room this morning, stripped the bed and found this pile between the wall and his bed. Some of it I don't even know where he got...
We lock, we monitor, we watch and he still gets into food... you can't see in the picture, but the muffin wrappers are my weight watchers muffins that I buy as little treat for myself...
Life with PWS... it's not easy for him or me.

I guess you must know that our heart goes out to you...remember that you are doing a great job. For proof just look at those kids - they are in great shape...especially for 'pw kids'. Don't get too discouraged - just look at the kids - and know that you and Dave are doing the best for them. Love MOM & DAD
Sigh...Don't you just want to yell: "welcome to our world people". Yes, some say we've taken these kids in our life ON PURPOSE so what do you expect or I don't know how you do it? Well, I know how I do it...I cry, I laugh, I pray, I scream, I call you, I hide in my room, I remind myself why God gave me this life. I remember in the movie Loretta Claiborne's mother looks up to heaven and says to God - YOUR WORD SAYS YOU WON'T GIVE ME MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE, WELL, LORD, YOU MUST THINK AN AWFUL LOT OF ME!
Then reality sets in and He's right - God chose us for this purpose to raise these children to adulthood the best way we know how.
By the way I think that's my trail mix and my 5 gum! I'll have to run a DNA swab! haha
I love you Vicky. You are a wonderful mother - keep your chin and up and keep laughing. Just call me and we'll laugh and cry together.

I had to smile when I saw that photo, even though I know its not funny, its very frustrating. Just 2weeks ago, I found a similar pile of wrappers etc. in my (PWS-Like) son's room behind his bureau in his bedroom!!! We also lock, monitor etc. but they always find a way...
