Caroline Riding Today...

Hi Bloggies...
Sorry I am so pathetically behind in my posting... I just can't seem to keep up these days!! Soo much going on... and not enough time to share... yeah I know excuses... excuses!!!

Alex Graduates frm High School next week.... he ois off to Central Ct State University in the fall... Engineering Major for him...

David Graduates from 8th grade... he is is off to a specialized High school setting about an hour away from home... he will be commuting back and firth every day...

Lots of planning and work on my part to make all this happen.. and life goes on here in the mean time...

Anyway the main reaon for this post... my beautiful girl at her riding lesson today. She has been riding for about a year and in the last couple of months has gone from needing to be led around the ring to trotting and posting on her own.... from having to be in the safety of the indoor ring all by herself with the instructer to being in the outdoor ring with other riders! I am sooo proud of her and her determination to do her best... the riding has done wonders for her tone and more than that for her confidence!!!

Special Olympics Pictures..

Hi All,
Sorry for the lack of posts... it's just such a busy time of year.... here are some pictures from Special Olympics soccer qualifier at U-Conn 2 weeks ago...

The next few weeks will ring lots more pictures.... David is going to the Junior prom in Shelton with his friend Brittany (who also has PWS) on Friday night.... I promise lots of pictures.

Please Say a Prayer....

This is our friend's son Brent. These photo's were taken a couple of years ago when Brent had first joined the army.

Brent was critically injured lastweek in Iraq when a roadside bomb went off right where he was standing. He was the only survivor.
He was initially sent to the base in Germany for surgery and was then flown to Walter Reid on Sunday. From there he was flown to Seattle and then to his base in Alaska where he faces more surgery to remove shrapnel from his face, neck and legs. His wife was able to get to Alaska to be with him this week, so he has her support now, but he is facing many painful procedures to repair his injuries.

So please take a second and say a prayer for Brent and for all our soldiers as they fight to defend our country.

We love you Brent....get better soon buddy.... David Ben and Caroline miss you!!!
